VIBRant paintings with sass and story
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I paint with joy and curiosity, inspired by the beauty and contrast of the Texas Mexico border and the lived female experience. Idioms, song lyrics, nostalgia, and dreams scaffold the stories I tell on the canvas.

PERSONA
“Persona,” states Austin artist Ana Stapleton, “are recent paintings that explore the selves we long to be, the ones we embrace, the ones we hide from. ‘Persona’ is a bit of word play, as it means person in Spanish. There is a tension between the cultural expectations of growing up Mexican female (to be polite, agreeable, supportive, demure) and being a fully expressed person with flaws, opinions, and noise.” Come and meet Ana at the March opening. POWER OF 3
The Power of 3 Group Art Show was a one-night-only exhibition at South Congress Hotel in Austin, bringing together artists Ana Stapleton, Jodie King, and Stephanie Moore to showcase distinct yet interconnected artistic perspectives. Rooted in a shared mission to elevate female voices in the art world, the event blended art, music, and community while supporting charitable causes through artwork raffles and donations. It served as both a celebration of creativity and a platform for connection, storytelling, and impact.
